Why We Built This Site
Public access in Colorado does not mean that each part of a court file appears in one online result. The Judicial Branch Docket Search publishes hearing settings. The Clerk of Court, Clear Creek County Combined Courts, supplies the Register of Actions and available documents. Idaho Springs and the county's towns handle their own municipal matters. We built this resource to make those boundaries clear and to collect the verified search fields, case-number patterns, contact details, fees, and request steps that point to the correct official custodian.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket detail: how Clear Creek criminal docket searches and civil docket searches differ
- Hearing settings: how to read court dates and confirm an appearance with the clerk
- Case identification: how to use the official case lookup by party or Colorado case number
- Clerk requests: how to order available court records, Registers of Actions, and certified copies
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some content pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and price. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports free access to this reference site. We do not set provider charges, build their reports, or decide which records they return.
