Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information collected during a visit, why it is used, and the limited circumstances in which another party may receive it. By continuing to use Clear Creek County Court Docket, you agree to the practices stated here.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. The provider processes the query and supplies its own results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

An email or contact message may be kept long enough to respond and maintain the exchange. We limit access to our team and disclose a message outside the organization only when law requires it.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, servers may receive routine technical details about the visit:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Which browser you are using and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
  • The site that sent you here, if any
  • Timestamps for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files stored on a device. They help show how visitors move through the site, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics services combine that traffic data. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features work.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
  • Sending your search requests to the right partner service
  • Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
  • Tracking down and fixing technical issues
  • Showing ads that may line up with your interests

No Court-Record Data on File

Clear Creek County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of court cases or personal court-record information. It publishes reference material about the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search, the combined-courts clerk, and municipal record routes. Official court-case access follows Chief Justice Directive 05-01 and Judicial Branch guidance. The Colorado Open Records Act governs many public records generally, while Rule 38 and PAIRR 2 address Judicial Branch administrative records rather than case files. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention rules, and sharing practices apply to information submitted there. Those practices are outside our control, so review the provider's policy before running a query.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to courts, clerks, government portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Read it before providing personal information.

Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate that tracking.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:

  • Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
  • Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on our pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable security practices protect the information we handle. No internet system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that an unauthorized event will never occur.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor appears to have submitted information, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted.

Your Data Rights

Privacy and consumer-protection laws that apply where you live may provide additional rights. Subject to legal and technical limits, you may:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
